CliniClue with Microsoft Windows VistaWe have tested CliniClue® under the new Microsoft Windows Vista® operating system. CliniClue is freeware without warrantee therefore we do not guarantee there will be no issues in Vista. However, we can report that we have successfully installed and used CliniClue 2006 on a new machine running Microsoft Windows Vista®. Footnote The reason for the install errors is that the relevant (or more up to date) files are already installed as part of the Vista OS and cannot be overwritten. Click the "Ignore" option on the error message to allow installation to continue. The relevant library is already installed and registered. Telling people to "Ignore" error messages is not ideal and tends to increase the error report traffic. Therefore we will probably produce a variant of the setup that does not exhibit this error at some point. However, in the meantime it does appear to work and the results we get are in line with those expected based on the MS information on the components we use. |
