CliniClue FAQ |
CliniClue display pane issuesThis FAQ addresses two issues with display panes in CliniClue 2006. A) Blank or badly drawn controlsIssueAfter loading or editing the browser display layouts some panes may be invisible of may contain overlapping or partially visible controls. ExpanationControls are only redrawn when CliniClue recognises a change in the size of a control. If a new layout does not result in resizing of a control the update is not completed correctly. WorkroundWhen this problem occurs simply drag the edge of the form or the affected pane so that the size of the badly poorly displayed pane is changed. The controls should then be visible and appropriately drawn based on the layout settings. Permanent solutionThis issue is fixed in the CliniClue 2008 release which is undergoing internal testing. A beta test version will be released during December 2007 with the full release planned for early 2008. B) Problems with language and subset configuationIssueWhen selecting ClueData that includes an additional language or subset CliniClue 2006 may fail to correctly configure some of the display panes. ExpanationThe configuration of some panes is not correctly updated on loading a new coding scheme. As a result some panes may not respond to changes in the language setting. WorkroundTo correct this problem proceed as follows: 1. Repeat the "File" / "SNOMED CT Edition Selection" step twice.
2. Exit CliniClue 2006. 3. Reload CliniClue 2006. Planned solutionThis and several other configuration bugs are being fully addressed in the CliniClue 2008 software release scheduled for January 2008. A test prerelease of CliniClue 2008 will be made available in late November on request to those who experience these issues. Affected versionsThis only affects some installations of CliniClue 2006. |
