ClueData Expiry

It may be the installed data (not your validation key) that has expired

  • Check the expiry message you and see if it refers to the data files.
  • To resolve the issue you need to obtain and install the latest version of SNOMED CT in the Clue Data format.

Note: To allow SNOMED CT® to be viewed in CliniClue® you need to obtain ClueData files. Find out how to obtain these files by from our ClueData page.

Note on ClueData Expiry

ClueData expiry occurs after about 15 months after the release of the data. If you have install the latest ClueData files for SNOMED CT (currently released every 6 months) you will not see this expiry.

  • This is a deliberate lock to prevent those evaluating or using out of date SNOMED CT data.
  • However, if you need access to old versions do not worry. If a recent set of ClueData is accessible on your system, CliniClue will let you look at the expired ClueData files as well! The lock only applies if you have no recent data installed.

Note: CLUE-5 does not permit access to older data even if the new data is installed. This is just one of many enhancement in CliniClue 2006.
